I was just wondering if anyone has heard from Op , it's been along time since she posted. I remember she was having PC problems.

And NancyJo, where are you?

I dont know who you are but you seem to be so incredibly sweet on your posts.  I am 31 yrs old and my husband left me 15 months ago. I have a 3 yr old daughter who has a blood disease, I just lost my boyfirend of 7 months and I am a raging alcoholic.  I am back in therapy as of today but I just hate myself so much. I am a teacher (11/12th grade special ed but am home b/c of y daughters disease)  I have everything but feel like I have nothing.  I am sooooo sad all of the time and do not know how in the hell to quit drinking. I know I am a good mom---but I am also not. Please help me......I feel like I can not go on anymore....

Pixie, Please call someone, the AA hotline is manned 24/7 and while the web is nice you need to talk to a Alcoholic who live near to where you live who can help you. Don't wait the numbers in the phone book or you can dial 411 and ask for the number of AA, Please call now before it's too late. Bob.

Pixie, I'm so glad you have found this board, there are alot of great people here who care. Just as Bob has said you should contact AA , find out where the meetings are in your area, and go to one. Have you ever been to an AA meeting?

I'm glad you are back in therapy, I'm sure that will help. Pixie you have alot going on in your life, I've been where you are and I'm glad you are reaching out. You are worth whatever it takes to get sober. If you don't take care of you , you won't be able to take care of your daughter.

So please call AA, call a friend or family member to talk to and keep posting and reading here.We are here to share our experience, strength and hope with each other. I go to as many AA meetings as I can a week, they have helped me stay sober for the past 20 years, and I have some wonder people in my life because of them and this board.
