Been reading alot of good recovery; thanks. Been in and out of the program for a decade or more. What is different this time is the realization that the program works when I grow spiritually. Glad to be here.
Sounds great though I would go to more than 1 meeting a week for the next year (at least 4 or 5). Yes, all the power does lie in God's hands but it has to be combined with discipline and willingness that only comes from building a very solid AA foundation and working an active program. There is an even simpler recipe for success that you could follow: Do whatever your sponsor says.
