Today I put diesel into my petrol car and had to get towed home. Two good things, had automobile cover which paid for that and was just after a meeting so fairly well grounded, am still a bit stressed though, so am just going to chill now.

I had a sponsee do that to my car once, was a pain to fix myself but not impossible, I had to drain the deisel out into 5 gal tanks and replace it with gas, then turn the car over enough with the starter to flush the fuel injection system, when it started it created a cloud of smoke out of a Stephen King Novel

HeyMaire,,I took a 5 gallon gas can from our warehouse and poured it into my gas tank.Car would not go!!!...Turned out the can was filled with water to fill up windshield receptacles.Had to get tank removed and dried out and reinstalled.I always look first now!!!! My immediate reaction was to blame person who put water in the can(what else would a person "not practicing" spiritual principles do??I was able to reflect on a bunch of principles though(6th 'blaming, displaced anger, taking others inventory(definitely ready to have them removed),jumped to 1oth,when wrong promptly admitting it, no one elses fault, yes can should have had gas,but it didnt!!! 1st .I was powerless over what happened and now could choose insanity or get it fixed,I was able to choose the latter...Another learning lesson,do not always take things for granted and when things happen(and they will)find the solution :) :)Move on.........many years ago this would have been virtually impossible for this souse now in remission!!
