We get the weird stuff out here on the northern prairie around this time of year... rain & snow mixed with an occasional thunderclap. That's what got me out of bed at 4:30 this morning.
If all goes well i'll be in Colorado in about a week at 9500 feet. Might be some snow there. Hope to winterize the boat today and get it put away soon.
Cheri, Isn't it nice to be able to see the good in things. I don't really like snow because of my health but I do love to look at it, I take pictures when it snows, but I try to stay in as much as possible.
It's predicted we will get our first freeze here tonight. We usually don't get it until the end of Oct.I am cat sitting for 2 people for the next 2 weeks, so I will be in and out alot in the cold, I at least have my winter clothes out, the advantage of just moving.
We got the rain/snow mix yesterday Dan...then we sent it north to you! I'm in WY about 6 miles from S Dakota...
Gammy, we got 12 inches here in the hills where I live. I lost my lilac bushes and half my willow tree, the snow was so heavy and wet that lots of trees went down last night. My lilacs needed to be pruned anyway, so I'm hoping I'll be able to bring them around in the spring.
Doll, the funny thing is last week I was running the AC too...we were in the 90s also, but dropping at night fast.
Wagon, imagine the snow as God's icing on the cake of sobriety. You'll do it Iknow you will!
Nancy, any time you want to visit say the word. I'll leave a light on for ya!
Rick, watcha doing in CO.? My parents still live there.
I guess the hunters will like this...it'll be easy to track the elk now!
