God Calling - Bless your enemies

"Say often, "God bless..." of any whom you find in disharmony with you or whom you desire to help.  Say it, willing that showers of blessings and joy and success may fall upon them.

Leave to Me the necessary correcting or training; you must only desire joy and blessing for them.  At present your prayers are that they should be taught and corrected.

Love, love, love.  Love will break down all your difficulties.  Love will build up all your successes."

Sometimes that enemy includes me.  I will do this today and practice it throughout the day.  My soul needs to smile...turning them and myself over to God as I understand God.   Mahalo Glad.   smile

again, just what i needed to read today. I'm not big on prayer and meditation, I try but I have to work at it.

I have been praying for my ex wife - to get all she is due, for another guy - to get all he is due, but with bitterness and bile in my heart.

So now it's just a simple God Bless whoever.

DUDE! It really works. I have a coworker who drives me crazy and I get very angry at her, regularly. I know that as an alcoholic, I cannot afford the luxury of anger...so I started praying for her. I prayed for all the good things I would like to have in my life, for HER. In ten days, I was amazed to see how things were changing. I no longer detested the woman, and started seeing her in a different light. She was not nearly as annoying as before, and she started doing NICE THINGS for me randomly! It was so bizarre! One day, I asked her sincerely at lunch how she was doing and what was going on in her life and she told me of her troubles with cancer and that chemo isn't working. I had NO IDEA she was going through this. I almost started crying thinking about how dark and evil my thoughts toward her used to be. I now feel tolerance, understanding, respect, and even love for this woman who used to drive me nuts. Prayer works. Period. Glory BE~! Heather
