Wow. Sober for Christmas. Didn't know if that was going to be the case if you'd asked me a few months ago. But by the Grace of God, I was.

HI Joni,

So happy you made it back, when I read what you wrote, made me think, no one, speaking for myself, I cannot tell you I will be sober next Christmas, it is just something none of us can ever take for "granted" I pray I will, but do I "know" I will, no,   awe the sweet beauty of this 24 hours only program, and to cheer you, remember dearie if you woke up earlier than me today, then you have more sobriety time today that I do....:)

So happy to see you posting, and your Post on Pets was hysterical, I dont have any pets, so I did not respond,
but that is one funny thread.

Huggies,
Toni

you all helped keep me sober.  went to a meeting last night and there were 10 sober AAs there, too.  what a joy to share with each other.  whenever i think "i should be further along than i am"  or "i am not doing this as good as i should"  just back up and remember,  i am right where i am supposed to be right now.  stay in the moment and see the beauty, or accept the pain, and thank my higher power that he helps me stay sober through it all.
