On this date,December 2nd,1984,it was a Sunday morning, I "came to" for the last time, raising my twisted head from the floor and crying out for God's mercy and received His grace....Please join me today in a celebration of life ,26 years of uninterrupted sobriety, a day at a time.To the newcomer,I can say that one aspect of our spiritual awakening comes from a new understanding of our Higher Power that we develop by sharing with another alcoholic's recovery. We are visions of hope, examples of the program working and the joy we have in living in sobriety is an attraction to those who still suffer We do recover! Keep coming back, join us in your own 'celebration of life"the minutes, turn to hours ,then months then years! I continue to keep what I have by giving it away, always seeking the will of the God of my understanding and doing the work to "stay in the solution" Have a blessed and productive day!!

God bless you and your family on this very special day. Thanks for being a friend and being a true example on this forum. I have gained a lot of inspiration from you. I must also say that you show a great love and respect for God. Keep doing what you doing Mike. Many of us need someone like you.
Wow, sounds corny, but some tears in my eye as I read this. Thanks for sharing this, for showing that it can be done and how it can be done. An abundance of blessings to you...and congratulations!
