CELEBRATION OF LIFE!

On this date,December 2nd,1984,it was a Sunday morning, I "came to" for the last time, raising my twisted head from the floor and crying out for God's mercy and  received His grace....Please join me today in a celebration of life ,26 years of uninterrupted sobriety, a day at a time.To the newcomer,I can say that one aspect of our spiritual awakening comes from a new understanding of our Higher Power that we develop by sharing with another alcoholic's recovery. We are visions of hope, examples of the program working and the joy we have in living in sobriety is an attraction to those who  still suffer We do recover! Keep coming back, join us in your own 'celebration of life"the minutes, turn to hours ,then months then years! I continue to keep what I have by giving it away, always seeking the will of the God of my understanding and doing the  work to "stay in the solution" Have a blessed and productive day!!smile

Wow, sounds corny, but some tears in my eye as I read this. Thanks for sharing this, for showing that it can be done and how it can be done. An abundance of blessings to you...and congratulations!

Best

Steve

Awesome Mike! Congrats oldtimer :)

Of course, I call you that with immense respect cuz being an oldtimer in AA is something amazing that you really deserve much respect for.  Kudos.
