Hi Tom,

Well I think just about everyone here, has you in their thoughts and Prayers, non stop.

As a woman that went through the identical surgery, I have had coming from my subconscious I suppose the exact memory of the day after.....she will remember this day too always, that is a my strong guess.....and hopefully Connie, sweet brave Connie will feel so safe as in God's Hands, I had asked God to please hold on to me with this, and it became rather clear that it was really sort of "surralistic"...hope you don't mind my putting my experience in here.  Just thinking of her and Praying she feels safe and secure and knows she is loved so much by her Faithful God.

God Bless you both, wish so much we could all just give a real hug to you, but a cyber hug - well it just has to do, but I sure hope you can feel the Actual Prayers that have been  surrounding you, that is not cyber stuff, they are real and bet you can feel them.

Love and caring

God just hold on to these two wonderful people in their hour of needing you so...

Toni

Well! Thank you beyond words for the prayers and thoughts! Right now, you can take Connie's progress as a testament to all your efforts. The procedure went as well as can be expected. She did real well and it was amazing watching her come from the OR to now, 3 days later, walking around and doing things with good cheer. I will tell you that although she is not an alcoholic, she really does embrace the spirituality that surrounds our program and the simplicity and honesty. She has been reading daily from my Dad's old "24 Hours a Day" book that is falling apart and is dog eared and has the margins filled with notes and thoughts. She never knew him (or me) as a an active drunk, but what she knew of him was the wonderful peaceful man he became and the man I would like to emulate. So, your inputs and prayers have touched her, and she knows where they are coming from.
Thanks Jerry for starting a new thread so I could update you all on her progress. I firmly believe that the prayers were instrumental in how smoothly this all went so far. Toni, it was surralistic. There was really no other word for it, but, what brought it back to reality was the grounded inputs from many like you that have been through it before.
Thanks my friends! More later.
Tom
