He is Father. BB Step3

Despite circumstances and situations in my own life, I came to believe in AA of a loving God. For a long time I could not see God as my Father and therefore I missed out on many gifts that He was willing to give me.
The transformation process began in the steps of recovery:
Step 2: power greater than myself.
Step 3: God as we understood
Step 5: Just God
Step 7: Him
I found God's justice was perfect because evreything is governed by law. I knowingly breached the law so I payed the price. Today I don't break God's laws because I love Him. Jesus said to his disciples if you love me keep my commands. Not serve more.
It's no secret that my life is joyous, free and happy because I came to know and love God my Father through the 12 steps of AA. For me His commands are not a burden.
For me God's grace is sufficient.

and the beautiful thing about it (AA) is we are repeatedly told "why don't you choose your own concept of God" and it is "God as you understand God" so I don't have to be Christian in any way, shape or form, I don't have to believe in anybody else's idea of a Deity, I don't have to believe in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, or anything for that matter, all I have to do is have an open mind and be willing to believe in a power greater then myself, and it can be whatever I want, as a matter of fact I can be a Taoist, Buddhist Pagan Atheist with NO deity whatsoever (which is what I am) and we are still on exactly the same page trudging the road of happy destinyand I nod my head to everything you say because I understand it and it's my experience as well.

So when you use your terms I know EXACTLY what they mean to me and I 100% agree with you, and that's why this is a spiritual program and not a religious one, and I know of nothing else and nowhere else that this kind of tolerance and open mindedness is not only welcomed but positively insisted upon.

That's a loving God to me, and it's a beautiful day because of it
