If I was doing any better, I would need to be two people.

I spent Tuesday morning in an operating room under general anesthesia in yet another failed attempt to remove a boulder size kidney stone from my right kidney.

By the Grace of God and AA I woke up on the green side of the grass and sober.

Over the years as I have grown spiritually as a result of the 12 Steps of AA I have adopted a very simple barometer of my state of health.

If I wake up, then I am in good health.

That is when I thank God for giving me yet another day to be of service to him.

Eeeeeek...kidney stones are horrible. Hope they fix you up soooooon, and I love this cheery post! Keep on trucking!
