Just a quick note to tell my MIP friends..... I was granted full privileges for my driving license! I have worked the system for 2 1/2 years to be granted the privilege. And it is a privilege I took for granted. But with the AA program and my higher power I now see that and I won't be taking it for granted. It is not easy to get it after 2 duis. Whew now I have that behind me and I can continue as always with my one day at a time. So grateful!
Excellent Susie! I also lost mine and had a temp so I could work only thru luck of fate.Had back to back dwi's(mandatory 10 yr here in New york! First one got dropped to a DUI and believe it or not I had just finished putting floor covering in the :judges: house that heard the next case.(3 weeks later)Dropped it to another DUI and lost license etc..sometimes it is about who you know.Fortunately I never killed anyway driving while blind..I appreciate the priviledge of being able to operate a motor vehicle or any vehicle for that matter.Congrats ,I know that reopens up the world to you(well at least your travelling area!! great job doing the work!!!

Susie, that is awesome!!! Now you can give back and pick up some women for meetings who don't have their license!!! I know that feeling of being immobile.... hope it is warm enough where you are to roll down the windows, crank the tunes and go for a nice long sobriety drive!! I have fond memories of my first days back behind the wheel!! Be careful, there are still many of us out there who should not be on the road. May God protect you and keep you.
Love, Joni
