22 years in recovery.

I thank God that despite myself and my circumstances, he kept me sober and held me in the palm of His hands. I want to thank the AA fellowship for it's support.
I want to say thanks to this forum and all the people behind the scenes who make it possible to be online. I also want to thank all the people who take time off to post here.
I just want to say that without all of you people around, it would have been a lonely 22 year journey, but these years have been the best years of my life never to be repeated in this lifetime.

It's people like you who give me hope for the future. All of you here, with more time than me, make this journey seem possible just by reading of your accomplishments. I thank you all.

I also relate by experience to what ferrisdp shared.  I always tear up at the renewed
feeling of hope I get from the fellowship and it comes back and gives back.  Congradulations
Gonee for those approximately 8030 days you have done one after another and then
shared the experience with this fellowship as a whole and as individuals.   smile
