I got a great anniversary greeting from a fellow named Joseph G, and about a dozen others from around the world, none of them will tell me how they found me lol. Joseph sent me a link to a site that he's involved with called http://rumradio.org/ RumRadio, a reference to which comes from the big book. I checked it out and it a very cool site with lots of info on sponsorship, teaching the steps and packed full of other goodness. I highly recommend stopping and looking around. http://rumradio.org/
Thanks Joseph, stop in and introduce yourself.

Thank you for the vote of confidence. Bill W said the one assurance of staying sober was intensive work with another alcoholic ,this activity works when all others fail. But you can' give away something you don't have. Sponsorship is all over the board ,a sponsee from NJ told me the were told to go to meetings for a year before they could work the Steps, my home group used to do a Step a month, its like asking the question "how long can you tread water Noah?" I believe there is a movement to get back to basics approach. The website suggests a timely yet thorough understanding of the working of the Twelve Steps with a 45 day goal for completion. We have humor and wit because we are not a glum lot, IE:
how to find a sponsor
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe; I need a sponsor for I am ready to go. Manny, Moe or Jack? I guess Moe, Ive had too Manny, and I dont know Jack.
its Big Book and Twelve and Twelve, there is some opinion but if you get 15 alcoholics in a room you will get 20 opinions. we have tried to make it clear and clever take what you need and leave the rest ,there is no money being made and the credit for this work goes to God and the fellowship If you have any suggestions insights, tips , techniques or proven tools that you would like to share please feel free to provide .
