Thank you for the vote of confidence. Bill W  said the one assurance of staying sober was intensive work with another alcoholic ,this activity works when all others fail. But you can' give away something you don't have. Sponsorship is all over the board ,a sponsee from NJ told me the were told to go to meetings for a year before they could  work the Steps, my home group used to do a Step a month, its like asking the question "how long can you tread water Noah?" I believe there is a movement to get back to  basics  approach.  The website suggests a  timely yet thorough understanding  of the working of the Twelve Steps with a 45 day goal for completion.
