Actually, His Holiness really LOVES techie stuff. He enjoys tinkering with gadgets, and I read somewhere (or saw in an interview) that when he visited LA (think it was LA), he kept pressing his nose against the glass of the display cases with electronics.
I think he laughed and said he isn't above craving the latest in gadgetry.
