Congratulations on day 17! (or would it be 18  now).

We all understand. The only difference in our stories are the people, places and timeline. Same stuff with everyone. So, do not feel alone. You are not alone anymore.

How's the AA meetings going?  Are you reading the Big Book? It is a wonderful tool. It was recommended to me to read some and then read chapter 5, read some more, then read Chapter 5.......  The most important thing I've found in  AA is the saying "just for today". I TRY not to worry about tomorrow. And if you make it thru today without a drink, Awesome, just do the same thing tomorrow.

Do you have a call list? If not, get one! The people in AA wouldnt give you their numbers if they didn't want you to use them!

Let me know how are you are. I care.

and I love you

Hey OP,

Thanks for the post. I was out of town with my son at a Boy Scout camping trip. He was at camp for a week, and we went to see him last night. It was much fun. I thought it would be boring, but it was a pretty good time.

I have the big book, but I have not read it yet. Except for the couple of BB study meetings I've been to, of course. I'll be reading it soon, though.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Today will make day 21.

C/C
