Hi guys, Just drop0ped ion to thank you all for your messages during my 'sabbatical' from this site!! Life has a strange way of knocking yo9u off kilter and keeping you there sometimes eh??
I will try to get yopu up to speed on what's been happening in my world recently, but too long a task right now - I have to 'school run' very soon (Collecting Grandson from school)
Both my dauyghters have HUGE health-related problems right now, which means I, too am hurting. I was told once, by another lady in recovery, 'When my kids are cut, it's ME who bleeds' and OH BOY do I ever understand that!!
HOWEVER, there's MANY silver linings too, it's not ALL doom and gloom - I celebrated my 20th Soberversary last Sunday (July 11th)
The bad times come along to stop me being complacent, and also to learn something I haven't yet learned, 'The4s are growing days, Avril' my sponsors have told me. OK! OK! I get that - but I am gonna end up 10 feet tall if I keep growing at THIS RATE!!!! Laters - off to skool I go.........

Avril, Thank you for stopping in and the reminder that no matter how much time one has, there's always times when things get difficult. Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. Not that I neccesarily have to approve of them, but I do have accept them if I'm going to be happy. Live, Learn & Grow.
