Another holiday over with.

Hi Brothers and Sisters
Hope all went well over the holiday weekend.
I tell you the best years of my life have been while I was working the program. I would be dead by now if it wasn't for AA and all my friends.
I do not regret going back out; I hope it helped some of my AA friends, to see what it turned me to while I was drinking. My morals and zest for life goes right out the window. It is really like giving in to the darkside.
So many welcome smiles when I walked back into the rooms. No one was their to Judge me but to welcome me with open arms. I thank my Higher power for the rooms of AA and all the people that have been saved.
Next month I will be spending some jail time, but that is were Drinking takes me while also leaving a lot of hurt souls in the wake.
I embrace you all with true love from my heart.
Have a great day. Make sure you smile. Them wrinkles gives you a reason not to use botox.biggrin

Hey BB,
Great post. The jail time will pass and as you have said, you know whats on the other side. A life free of alcohol. Good luck and you know you will have us praying for you.
Tom

Welcome back BB.  You will have some beneficial E,S & H to share with the newcomer and the fellowship.  Sounds like you may have already help a few.
Keep coming back and help us stay sober.
