September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month in the United States. A couple of months ago, a facility in Hot Springs, Arkansas contacted me about the possibility of speaking at their treatment center.
This is another dream of mine to just travel around the States and share my ESH.
Well, I wrote them up a proposal as to what I would need to speak and last night got an e-mail from them... this is part of what they had to say,
"We would have dinner the night before just so that you can get to know us better as an organization and more about the event. In the morning we would allow you to have a booth setup where you can sell your books. We are going to put it next to the registration booth so that if you want to walk around and meet people or visit other booths she can help sell books for you and then we would like for you to be the main speaker for the event. Each year we like to have someone who is in recovery speak to motivate the event and educate the visitors on the importance of recovery. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are very excited about your attendance at this years event."
Recovery is an awesome process, where dreams come to life and the journey is full with amazement.
Still a couple of little details still need to be discussed... but it is 99% sure that I will be speaking in Hot Springs, Arkansas on September 18th of this year...
Thank you God for a second chance at life...
