Morning! As this weekend comes to pass, could we share a moment to honor those who served our country to give us a place of freedom to celebrate our recovery and hopefully carry the message of hope to those willing to accept it.Stay especially vigilante as wetake to the highways among the still sick and suffering motoring vehicular missles throughout the county,Thank our HP for His grace and mercy for allowing us another day sober, happy joyous and free!.Have a blessed and safe holiday weekend!smile

I would like to thank my grandpa, Carl F. "Swede" Somers, who was a Staff Seargent in Patton's 3rd Army in WWII. He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster, and lived to tell about it, by the Grace of God!

He started drinking heavily after the war, due to the memories that plagued him. A friend in town took him to AA. He lived the rest of his life without a drink. God bless him, and I KNOW he is resting in peace.
