I have a favor to ask... I have been looking for a little part time job for months now with no results. I don't want to work at a bar! I don't want to be around drinks. I'd like a coffee shop or a little office job or something. I need something to get me out of the house. I work freelance from home right now.
SO, I really believe in prayer and that things can truly come of it so I'm here to ask if anyone can spare a minute to say a prayer for me that I find the job that I'm looking for. Some people might think this is silly but I think it could work.

My spiritual readings tell me"Therefore I say to you,whatever things you ask when you pray,believe that you will receive them,and you will have them.For me ,the God of my understanding answers prayer,maybe not like I thought it would be but in ways that continue to amaze me!I never cease praying,it is my communication channel to my God,I have more of a challenge listening for the answer!I lift you up,Prayer sent!I would think if anyone thinks prayer is silly they may want to dig deeper into our solutions,the steps..(11).....We sought through prayer and meditiation.....Believe it will happen,I'll believe also

Oblong, I am praying for you right this minute. Don't forget to go to meetings in the meantime. There are interesting stories I have heard about people who were out of work and God put something in their path through AA. It happens all the time, actually.
I am not saying AA is an employment service. But we do help eachother in all sorts of ways, outside the meetings, wherever there is a need. AA works many miracles, and brings people together in countless ways. Just read my post from yesterday, about how I met my deceased mom's best friend at a funeral, and I had sat next to her for over a decade in meetings, and neither of us ever knew we were BOTH connected to my mother. Things like this happen within the realm of AA all the time.
Get involved in AA. It is the most important thing you could do, and it comes before a job. Take care of your recovery and the rest will follow.
