4th & 5th step retreat.

Just got back from my wonderful retreat. We had 5 first timers at our retreat of the 21 who had attended. The seaside resort was nice. Friday night was 3rd step and fellowship time. All of us took the 3rd step prayer in the AA book. Saturday day was 4th step workshop, some fellowship and then 5th step sharing until Sunday morning. Lots of hard work and fun, but it is worth it. Those that are sincere and do the work required in the AA book do not relapse. We do these workshops every 6 months. The older members sponsor and guide the new ones. The cycle continues.

The older ones pay back with gratitude. The new ones are eagerly appreciative.

The power of God was evident throughout the weekend. What an awsome experience. The big book says that we do not want to miss this opportunity of helping others. I am grateful to be part of it.

Aloha Gonee....That....is a retreat as I remember them in a different setting.  Awesome
commitment to spiritual recovery.  I can see why relapse would not happen.  Thanks
for the experience.   smile
