No real reason. 5-year old daughter is being a bit demanding and I have work to do today, but no overwhelming issues. No passengers in my mental canoe that don't belong there. I just want to lay back on my favorite old sofa with the shredded web-decking and the bottomed-out springs, rest the brim of my oldest wool fedora down onto the bridge of my nose and meditate on the Tao until I fall asleep.
I like naps...and cheese. First, though, I need to finish some work and involve my daughter.
I need a nap HORRIBLY. I worked all day cleaning out the old house. Heavy lifting and srubbing and carrying boxes up 3 flights of unforgiving stairs here..... my body hurts!
Naptime for me soon... Wish I had a fedora LOL

The nap was great. I contemplated some of the opening lines of Tao Te Ching v.10 "Can you coax your mind from its wandering and keep to the original oneness? Can you cleanse your inner vision until you see nothing but the light?"
First came Serenity...then came 60 minutes of Zzzzzz. I was awakened by my 5-yr. old putting a mini travel version of "Trouble" (remember that game?) on my chest to teach her how to play. Once she got the hang of "bumping" pieces back to base she started kickin' my a$$.
I like hats, but not ball-caps. Picked up my nap-fedora at a community theatre costume-room sale. The headband was gross-nasty from years of make-up, hairspray and hot-light sweat, so I seam-rippered it out and now it's a perfect nap-hat.
