This might sound odd to some people but after I take that very first sip of alcohol (no matter in what form) I get a bit of a pain. It's not really so much of a pain as it is a feeling of pressure or something in my urethra (I know, I know, I'm sorry but I had to say where... it might be relevant!) And it literally happens within a minute or so of the very first sip, well before I feel any affects of the alcohol. It goes away after the first drink.
I tried looking this up online but I can't find anything that matches. I always kind of wondered if it was just me or if maybe it was my body warning me that this wasn't a good idea or something. It happens to me every single time.
Does this happen to any of you? (edit: has this, in the past ever happened to any of you I should say)

Hello Jennifer.I can honestly say The only pain I had after'my first sip"was the devastation to myself and anyone or anything around me!(for many, many years)Hopefully THis is your HP'S way of letting you know for us "there can never be no first sip"!,there-in lies our dilemma which segregates us from others!I pray you will "never" experience that pain again.

Aloha Oblong...before I quit drinking I couldn't get to my second gulp of without getting right into a hangover headacke. Had to drink thru the pain if I wanted to. I never found out what that was about and then it took 5 years after I had stopped for the yellow green color of my skin to clear up. That one I found out about. Now I just sport a tropical brown color...LOL.
