A baby showed up...

Our new daughter, River Rose, was born yesterday at 2pm central time, US. She's in good health as is her mother.  Can't wait to tell my noon meeting!

YEEHHHHAAAAA!!!  Did you tell us you were expecting a baby, or has this come as a major surprise for YOU too????

I LOVE babies, first thing I do when I first cuddle a newborn is examine their feet and their li'l toes - Don't ask me why, it's just a thing I have about baby's feet!!!

Sobriety babies must stand one hell of a chance of growing up with lots of love in their hearts what a great way to be born, to sober parents.  LOVE her name, Comgrats to you and your baby and mummy. biggrin biggrin

Thanks so much everybody! My body was kind enough to wait until yesterday to unleash a 24-hr man-flu on me. Yesterday was eat, drink, sleep, pee, repeat and today...much better.
Now I can get to work with the final touches on nesting preparations. Not sure when she comes home but this shack needs some tuning up!

Sheesh...so much for "no major changes in your first year." smile.gif

Well, I gotta go. Thanks again and thanks for being the best bunch of oddly assorted friends a guy could ever ask for. I'm a blessed fellow.
