Of course your sobriety makes it far more likely that it indeed will be a happy day
Larry, ----------------- All the happiness there is in this world comes from thinking about others, and all the suffering comes from preoccupation with yourself.
THANX EVERYONE - and thanx also to Bill who rang me today, but I wasn't around, so he sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my answering machine. Cheers mate.
Had a great day, got visits from both kids and all the grandkids, then we all went for a lovely Indian meal to a new restaurant whic is quite new. I feel like a prize porker!!! Had to ask for a 'doggy bag' so JC will most likely be having chicken korma and garlic naan bread tomorrow for lunch.
I was enjoying my 56th birthday up until our Emma asked her son (grandson Billy) 'How old did you tell us nannan is today Billy?' and he said, '65'!!! I reckon that kid must be number dyslexic. bless him, hell what's it matter 56, 65 or woteva, I am happy to be alive and sober to celebrate another birthday.
Thanx again for the good wishes

Checkout the pics (lousy one's but you can make out who's who and who's not) the lighting in the restaurant was strange, but anyhow this is my birthday meal with the humongous naan bread!!
