I have three days off this week, Tuesday to Thursday, but it's the end of the financial year and we are expected to get the evidence together to show what good boys and girls we all are. I've been at work since 6 this morning, it's 4 p.m. now and I need a break away from work.
I still have to close off the grievance case, write up my performance evidence, close off my targets and objectives, study and certify 7 built projects, re write some processes and create two generic job desciptions, all by Friday, get some exercise, eat and go to a meeting.
Maybe that's a bit much for what's left of one day. I hate this time of year. thank God I'm not drinking.
Need to prioritise. What needs doing first. ClAdjudicate the grievance, write the report and write the adjudication letters. Next for today, eat and exercise then meeting. Everything else can wait until Friday.
Tuesday - Sleep Late, Massage, eat well, exercise, write up Intergroup minutes, clean up the office. Wednesday - Sleep Late, eat well, exercise, Fix my Bike Thursday - Sleep Late, eat well, exercise, get the bike tested and back on the road, go fishing. Friday - rise early, eat well, exercise, back to work, close the grievance case, provide my evidence.
Stop now, you've already pointed out to the high heidyins that there are only 24 hours in a day and you like to spend 6 sleeping, 2 exercising, 2 eating, 2 living and 4 enjoying. That leaves 8 for work.

Three days off? Well I thought my character defect of envy was history, but your post revived it. Since I retired in 2006 I have not had a single day off. Retirement is an unrelenting full time occupation. LOL
I sincerely hope you have a great time, you deserve it.
Remember it is OK to make plans as long as we do not plan the results.

Bill, Nice job organizing and prioritizing. Keep in mind; we make plans and god may change them, but it sounds like you've created an environment where you can work through them if they crop up. With Gods grace off course. Like Larry said, the results are beyond your control, so set them free. Enjoy your days off.
Sponsee asked to step 5 with me on Wednesday. Which means I'll be changing Tuesday through Thursday's plans to accomodate. Seems fair.
Spare parts supplier has contacted me to say the brake pins got lost somewhere but teh custom made discs are ready and could be with me by the weekend - they're an uprated design, so maybe I should put off the brake epair until I get those discs and then maybe sell the first set of spares.
and finally, it's turned bitter cold, so maybe the fishing will be off too. Ho Hum.

I've been off work for a year and a half! Man does it suck! Guess it's what we do with our time that counts..... Bye the way I've been beefing my bike up a bit. It's a 21 speed and man does it fly! The only bad part is I have to pedal it?
