Hi All

Doing this as a separate topic for information purposes.

The problem was with Java--one of the other updates I had gotten blocked it.

Here is the web site for Java-- www.java.com.

They have an updated version 18, it took only about 5 minutes to load.
Make sure you reboot your computer after.

Thanks for the tips though--it helped trouble shot what was going on.
