Well everyone the day has come when my husband was forced to retire he will be 67

in September and the job he had was so stressful I know it is a blessing in disquise.

And I have to trust Higher Power that he will look after us.  Our plans was for him

to work another year but as tired as he was getting maybe he wouldnt have made it.

So now after he works 2 more weeks and gets his vacation pay and 10 weeks serverance

which I feel is generous of the company they could of just said today is your last day.

Jim my husband has worked alot of hrs for that company and again I know this is a blessing

in disquise it was getting too much for him anyway. And we all know God has ways of

working things out.   I would appreciate your prayers for hubby and me that I can keep;

my spirits up and help him not to get into any depression........Luv Busbe

Busbe, You both will be in my prayers. change is sometimes scary but this could be a good thing, it will just take some getting use to. Do you have any plans to travel?

I had polio as a child and I dont get around that good anymore I use a walker when I leave

the house should use it in the house but it is a pain just took a bad fall last Saturday in the

home so realy not able to travel much maybe a day trip but thats about it.  My husband

wanted to work one more year but as tired as he was getting I dont think he  would have

made it I think they did him a favor....Hes kind of an antsy guy so I know it will take

alot of adjustments on both or parts to be at home together all the time....that will

take some work but I know Higher Power is with us and will see us thru this new

challenge we are starting on....Luv Busbe

They say that every adversity carries with it the seed of an equal opportunity, but try telling me that when the bailif is knocking at the door.

Bob Earl (an AA speaker) talks about how through an injury, he could no longer work in his job. He also goes on to explain why this adversity turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him in regards to money: http://www.healtalk.com/public/38.shtml
