Changing Plans, good meetings, missed meetings.

about 900 miles in 3 days. Started in Leverpool Tuesday Lunchtime, got two sites to audit and a third to test the security on. Got that done by 5 so headed to Preston to stay with a mate, get a curry and hit a meeting. There I am, 110 miles away from home and apart from my buddy Tim, I meet 5 other people that I have met before!

Wednesday, Up to Maryport, technical meeting, bitterly cold and a heck of a wind blowing, but what a great view from the roof....2 hours later set off for Gatwick, due to traffic congestion I got to the hotel half an hour after the meeting started, dead on my feet, so it's pizza, bath and bed.

Today, early technical meeting in Gatwick, supporting my new boss (who was my protege!) Managed to get finished by 2, then 240 miles drive home got back at 6.

Tomorrow - I have a shedload of e mails to deal with and a report to write by 9 p.m. but won't have all the detail I need until 5. So I'll miss the Friday meeting (I'll have a chat with my AA buddies in the afternoon though). Plan on a meeting on Saturday - let's hope this one comes off.

So far, apart from being knackered, I feel OK. Only got 4 days to work next week. Plan on packing the meetings together next week to top my tank up.

That is a lot of traveling... I'd be "knackered" too! (Is that a British term?)

Good too see you're so together and still excited about the program... The fact that you still savor it bodes well for those of us feeling a little in the crapper right now (myself included!).

yup, knackered, as in been to the knackers yard, where the worn out work horses get sent to be put down and turned into glue, or nowadays, very tired.

Thanks for the update Bill.  Sounds like a hectic week to me.  You appear to be handling it well.  Which is good to see.

Hey Bill -- sorry I missed you down south here. What a week you've had! Glad that you're handling it so well though!

All the best

Steve
