Hello !! I do hope all had a year of growth. My year was very bumpy to say the least. I received lessons in many different forms. Some fell into the "broken to tenderness" category. Painful. Others gave joy and deep peace that is difficult to describe. I would seem I needed both kinds to grow. The Blue Book, The 12 and12, meetings, Trusted Friends, This Board, and asking the God of my understanding for the gift of sobriety each day, plus a whole lot of effort on my part paid off. Some how I was able to access the "DAILY REPRIEVE". I am Grateful today.
Hard times out there for many people. I do think your attitude is admirable toad. We are lucky to have this program to see us through the hard times. It reminds us to tap into gratitude and to stay connected to others even when it seems the world is crashing down upon only us.
