Does anyone see themselves in this sorid Tiger Woods situation?  Not the sex part, but the powerlessness over actions?  Like ourselves and drinking, there was nothing reigning in the action and now the fall.  I don't like what he did, but I do see the similarities in our actions.  Am I wrong???

Tom,
Yes, I can relate.  To me it's the diesase of more.  Whether it's alcohol, food, attention or the need for multiple relationships.  It's the obession of more and than the compulsion to keep doing the same thing.  Also, the spiritual loss of values- imagine even a nice guy like Tiger.....  Diesases effect everyone.  The thing is now things won't change until he puts a program of action in place...  Do you think Tiger's ego can fit through the door?

He has two paths at this point with diverging avenues. I hope he can bring it together. At least when we screw up and drink, the world does not have to hear about our body parts in detail!

Yep for sure.  My world changed forever with a drunken car crash that immediately followed me trying to go out to bars and act like a ho.  It does go to remind us that nothing outside us can make us happy...not fame, success....inside job.

well it looks like Tiger is one of us. He's abusing ambien and vicodin and also appears to be quite the sex addict. And yes turning grey, it made me cringe thinking about how out of control he is/was and how much he has been setting himself up to fail. The rest of the world though will just think of him as arrogant and not understand.

"When Anyone anywhere reachs out for help let the hand of AA always be there; and
let it begin with me."  I can't golf that good but all the other stuff seems familiar.  Thing
is that if he does have our maladay...he's welcomed here right?  smile

Geez, guess I havent been following the Tiger story thoroughly. He has a drug problem now ?

Its all really to bad, but only goes to prove that ppl with money and fame are just as equal as the Ones who dont.

A friend of mine went to a national conference (1200 ppl) on Addiction. The keynote speaker's dad was Peter Lawford and mother was a Kennedy.... my friend spoke up in the meeting at how she came from poverty; he came from affluence and both end up at the same place.. the journey of pain & suffering looks the same. Profound I thought!!!
Cheers
