I wanted to recognize this message board and all of the diverse folks that come here. I celebrated 6 months alcohol free on November 30. On December 1, it was six months ago that I was led to MIP by the google and my HP. This board has meant a lot to me. Through the kind and thoughtful messages here, I found AA and recovery.
My life has changed dramatically, my spirit feels great. I have struggled with ups and downs and thank god I've had all of you to share it with. Ironically, this is one schooling I plan to try to not graduate from. I truly cherish my connections in cyberspace here and I hope to continue to come back in fellowship that we may be sober for more 24's.
Yaaaayyyyy Angel!!!!!!!!! The sincerity and kindness you have shown me is far beyond where you're at in sobriety, you are just a fantastic person. I am sooo glad you are here, and many many congratulations and hugs on your 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!

Yaaay!! Angel...I also feel your growth and am glad you participate here. Anyway I can be supportive just reach out. That is how I did it also and like yourself get to do another 24. Please keep coming back. (((hugs)))
Congrats Angela! By the time that I got to 6 months I felt like I really belonged in AA, not just a place that I went to. Hang in there is really does keep getting better and better.

I was thinking the same thing Joni wrote out, 6 months, congratulations my dear sweet friend, and it "feels" like so much longer, you have just poured yourself in, all of you, you are a real inspiration. Sometimes, (not really into regretting stuff) but sometimes I think to myself, wish I could have embraced the AA Program the same way Angela has.
I am sure you are a real inspiration to any new person, for you sure are an inspiration to me.
The biggest hug that I can find, arms streched out to the max and wrapping around you....
Congratulations, Angela & thank you for all you contribute here. Your sincerity is like a beacon & your faithfulness to the fellowship a real cool example. Thank you for being here & celebrating each new 24 with us. God bless you & your sobriety. Danielle x
