Yeah, Turkey day, lots of good food and time with family .  I know I am blessed and have much to be grateful for.  The biggest blessing is that Im sober.

We will be travelling.  Hopefully leaving thursday after dinner and headed south to Florida !! Im very excited as I'll get to see more of my family there ... mainly my grandkids who I miss so badly.

It is my hope that the whole site here has a wonderful day filled with good food and all the blessings that come from living sober.

We are some of the chosen few who have been given a gift and what better way to show our gratitude for this gift than to share it with Others who are in need.  smile

A Very Happy Thanksgiving To All

Be careful if traveling these next few days--no matter what your transportation means are.

Watch out for others--who may be in the stupid state of drinking.

Lastly eat plenty of Turkey, just don't be one.

Best wishes for tomorrow everyone. The restaurant/bar I work at closed early. Not many hard drinkers. They asked me were the action was. I was grateful to be able to say "I have no idea." Looking forward to a sober holiday.

angelov8-- I was grateful to be able to say "I have no idea."  LOL! I like that!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Gratitude is one of my HP's greatest gifts. Be safe and happy, all.

I am trying to have a sober '09 Thanksgiving. It is relatively difficult
, considering my apparent disease has occured so early.
