Just got in from a meeting, and just having a quick security check around the house then we will sleep in front of the TV until 3am, when we will set out for Manchester airport and on to Malta.

Looking forward to meeting up with Daniella on Monday (heehee, I get a head start on you with the tan hopefully sweetie!!!) biggrin

I'm sure there will be internet access so I may drop in during a quiet time to see how we're all doing.

Twill be Hello! for me & my Carl :) We'll be getting into Malta on Thursday & will hook up with Avril & JC in the evening.. Godwilling.. then the International Convention starts Friday.. Woohoop! Will miss you all here@MIP though I'm sure I'll be checking in if I possibly can to see you're all ok & rocking in sobriety! lol See you soon, Avril. Safe Travels >>* Daniella xxx

HI GUYS!!! We are now a group of 9 friends in recovery, 5 of whom are from New Jersey USA. 2 guys who we met at a campout convention in August got here, and they both went swimming with dolphins today and I went with them to take pics.  We also have a girl here whose first ever AA meeting was my homegroup Barnsley meeting, as she was in the local detox unit and part of their recovery is to attend 2 meetings, one of which is my homegroup and the other is held in their detox unit.

She is wheelchair bound, but it sure doesn't stop her enjoying life, she's here with her sponsor.

Been swimming and walking around showing the young lads the way around. Looking forward to linking up with Danielle tomorrow. They did promise me my life would get better, but mine just keeps getting betterer and betterer. IN FACT, if it gets much better I don't think I'll be able to stand it!!

JC and I just spotted a lovely little property to let which would be great to winter in once he retires from work, and plenty of room for a recording studio. WELL, we can dream can't we. Maybe one day we might win the lottery. (Mind you, I have never yet a ticket, I keep hearing HP screaming at me 'whatdya mean win the lottery??? BUY A SODDING TICKET STOOPID!!!'

For 2.50 (euros) we can stay connected for aN HOUR, SO WILL STAY IN TOUCH if WE GET ANY TIME, THAT IS. (oops, sorry capslock on)

Keep on keeping on.
