Hi BB,
Thought seriously about copying and pasting you entire Post, and just putting my name on itsmile!

I have an injury from an Auto Accident, many years ago, that slammed my 5th and 6th vertibre together, never to seperate again.  I have over the years learned how to deal with it.

Last week, I did some really dumb stuff with moving a very heavy piece of low furniture, and man oh man, I could not get out of bed on Sunday, it took 2 hours to get to the bathroom to pee.

So I have been going into the Doc across the street, thank goodness, first time I had to have someone drive me, for my range of motion in my neck was 0....

She knows my history, so she gave me some Lidocaine shots, and a shot in the butt of Toridol, I cannot even take Ibephofin, but I have to.  Because I was so cross addicted, I say no to all narcotics.

Someone asked me the other day what does it feel like, my answer, imagine a full body cast, from above your ears to the bottom of your feet, Now, if you have visualized that, now take the cast off.smile!!!!

For me Bill I have to find something to laugh about, and not take it too seriously, afterall we still have our minds and spiritual world.

Really sorry for having to vent all this, but it really feels good to let it out. Right Bill. This happen right at the same week, I had a new Roof put on, and  a lot of scheduled home remodeling stuff, like new windows, so I could see it as a complete inconvience, or I think of it a a great distraction. that seems to be working...

So I will go in today, again and get another shot of hydrocortizone, with a little Lidocaine. Thats helps, then get some Xrays.

So for all of the new people that have signed on, and no so new, too, I promise, no more Body parts Posts from me, well almost promisesmile

Just welcome each and everyone of you, cannot wait to get to know you more.

Big Hugs to all,

Just toni

Thanks for that.

Mum's are great, they can say things and get away with them. I told my Mum about my neck and back and before I could tell her my plan she said..........

Oh Luvvy, it's like that every day for me (she has spinal arthritis), stop whingeing and get something done about it.

Bless her, i needed the reminder that there are others out there just like me and sometimes worse.

Humour is good too, even though laughing physically hurts right now, at least I know from previous experience that this too will change, it won't be like this in an hour's time or tomorrow and ultimately it'll get sorted.

For me without doubt I could do with carrying a few less pounds and being a bit more active so it's back to the secret guaranteed never to fail diet.

Eat less. Move More.
