My 4 year old son goes to the hospital today for minor surgery on his mouth.  I feel so bad for him, and wish I could go through it instead of him.  I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my little man.  I'll update later on this afternoon.  Thanks to all my friends here on MIP.

Hi Brain,

Children tend to be so freighted of Dentist anyway, but Dental Surgery, hopefully they will give him something while doing this procedure.

Prayers for your little guy, please let us know how he is.  Hope it was not as bad as the Fear surrounding it.  For both of you.

Thank you all for your support. He came through better than we could have hoped. The connective tissue under his tongue was to thick, making his speech hard to understand. He was put under, but now has stitches and is in alot of pain. He's a trooper. Thank you all again.

It's touching to hear what a concerned and caring dad you are.  What's really awesome is that you are sober for all of this and you can now be totally present for him pretty much at any given time no matter what.  So prayers for your son, but also thinking it's pretty cool that you get to be and are such a loving dad.
