good job, and I'll bet that you are feeling better as well. That's the indicator (level of stress) of how well you're turning it over. I usually say something like "I can't do anything about this today, so God will you do whatever you can to help me with this". And I refuse to think about it just for today.

It is slowly all working out for you Lorna. Over time, if you stay sober and keep working the program, you will realize most everything gets done if you just show up and let the rest go. You were pretty much handling work and getting that job done before. What I found, was that work was the first place and the easiest place to let serenity and just handing it over occur.

Well Done, Lorna. Now that we have this tool & this choice, we wonder how on earth did we ever cope before! I most probably couldn't & undoubtedly the stress would build & lead to a spree. Of course, I didn't know this then but I do today. Thanks to A.A. & my HP ;D Keep up your good work. So good to see you posting your news & updates regularly here. All of you here@MIP help me stay sober today too. Thank you all & you Lorna for posting today :) Danielle x

Great to see you are sober and doing OK.

You're learning well. Soberity & meetings is #1 priority.

Serenity prayer, turn over what you can't handle. Everything is going to be OK.
