So i didn;'t duck out on my intention today! i turned myself in and faced the music!!

All for the good!! the warrent on my possession charge was dropped and my failing to appear..i ended up with an absolute discharge!!! Yeah for Wendy!!!!

I feel pretty good and, if i can say so, PROUD!

I didn't even have to sit in a jail cell!!

The judge had a big smile on his face and told me to keep up the good work!! Don't imagine he gets to say that very often. lol

This has really given me even more incentive( if thats possible...) to stay on this path of sobriety.

Is this part of an amend do you think??

Big smiles today,,,i was pretty nervous about it all, anxiety attacks and everything...after it was all said and done i could finally put some food in my tummy!! I tried to go to a meeting tonight..but i guess the one i went to doesn't exist anymore...shoot...so i came home and am sharing here with you's...guess i better get an updated meeting list...i usually work monday nights so..

all in all

It was a good day today...thanks for letting me share

\\//, Wendy

Hi Wendy, glad things are goin well.  I've got a court dealy coming up on the 26th, Drunk and disorderly and assault! oops.  Can't even remember it!  Black outs are a bitch aint they.  Anyway, getting to meetings each day and as promised things are beginning to get better.  My heads playing up big time at the moment but I haven't picked up a drink in over a week and thats some special kind of record for me.

Thanks for the support it's doing wonders for me!

Great stuff Wendy--great stuff. And there is a Higher Power working in your life.

Just goes to prove that if one takes the good orderly direction, and does their best, one day at a time--good things happen, and we get through them.

I was 15 months sober, when I stood before the judge re the wreckage of the past. 146 charges and the Crown was asking for 4 to ten years.

I did 4 months in a minimum security center, and was put in a position in AA in that institution, where I was able to help others.

Ohhhhh-there is a God--and He works, if we let Him.

Truck on!!

see what sobriety will do...Went to court on fines and got thrown in jail...but if I hadn't worked during the first year and got responsible and banked money I would have had to do 5 months in jail to pay it off....

So I never had to spend one night...

It is such a good feeling...glad you had your taste of what I was blessed with, God bless and thanks for the update
