I started off looking for a meeting in the town I am vacationing in and ended up finding you. So I decided to come home. As soon as I logged on, the first entry reminded me of my home group. Thanks- I was beginning to feel a little out of sorts. Come to find out I was homesick. Thanks for being there for me. I will return often no matter where I am. Love you guys...
Welcome to the board and just maybe, we found you! Spooky huh? In any case, make yourself at home and visit often, we all need each other here. (and there are a lot of really cool people on here)

I too am new here today and believe the Higher Power led me here, it truly is a miracle! Welcome and stay strong and sober! You can do it! Bless you! Steve

I found this place about a week ago. I read it throughout the day every day. I've really had some good inspiration from the people here. Glad to have you here, it's a great place to be!
thanks to all of you for your replies, especially after what happened this evening: i looked up a meeting in the area (one i attended a few years ago). but i couldn't find it! i was on the right road, but there was a lot of construction going on. by 8:25 (the meeting started at 8) i gave up and went back to the house. but i was able to find you guys again. thanks for diffusing a frustrating situation like no one else can. and thanks for the hug toni, i needed that! :)
Yeah, that is about Resentments. Those things are toxic! I find them to be one of the most dangerous things to my sobriety. I have learned that it isn't important for me to always be "right", win arguments, hold grudges, but rather accept things for what they are, not try to change people and allow my HP to run things. How liberating indeed! Keep coming back!
