The cancer, this time, is in-operable. Chemo was his only choice. So, my dad decided to give it a shot. At 73 and in such bad health all ready, I just don't know if he'll survive the treatment. That's some ROUGH stuff to say the least.
I'm so scared for him ~ I have asked my HP to remove my fear and replace it with what I need to help my dad get through this.
So, asking yu all for continued prayers and postive thoughts, please.
Hugs & love to you all.
~ Jen

Aloha Doll...of course the prayers. "lord make me an instrument of they peace..." is the first one that comes to mind. Seems like it was the first one that hit yours also. We can only want to be instruments.
Jen, I 'm praying for your Dad and Mom. Praying you have peace through this , and you will know just the right thing to say or do when you need to. I still like the saying "Courage is fear that has said its prayers". Love, GammyRose
In my thoughts and prayers. I watched my wife go through chemo and it was hard to believe something that could make her so sick could also make her healthy again...

Absolutely, prayers coming your dad's way, and yours as well. Be strong, and know that you being sober and being there for him right now with all your faculties is a true blessing.

Godbless you & him & your Mum & all your family & those affected. May God give you all strength to bear these times & allow you to find some peace & comfort in your challenges. Thinking of you, Jen. Prayers & energy coming from Liverpool. Danielle x

Prayers are with you Jen. Sometimes I don't respond to your posts because I'm like "What can I tell her? She is so strong. She has long term sobriety....She deals with so much and stays sober." Anyhow, I know you are human and I pray that you don't suffer dealing with all this. Like others on here, you are an inspiration and you help teach me how to go through things without drinking.

Doll, ALL things are possible with God, but He ultimately has the best plan for the situation.
I will be thinking of you. I am sad for what you have to go through right now, what your dad has to go through. I love my father so much, it is terrifying to think of being in your situation right now, and yet I will likely be in some kind of situation resembling it someday myself. I want you to know that I care deeply about this whole experience for you, and I am praying that you can get some peace and serenity in this time, not to mention that your dad can feel whole again, if it is God's Will. I want peace to be on your lives.
Love, Joni
