I have just received a very upsetting 'phone call. My cousin's youngest daughter, aged 13, is in hospital yet again. She was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis shortly after she was born. She has been in hospital for the last five or six weeks. Recently, she has been on a feeding tube.
She is now on morphine and oxygen.
The hospital have just informed her parents that she only has a day or two left to live.
It just seems so unfair.
Prayers for her and her family would be great right now.
Thanks.
Carol

That's pretty tough. will add her to my prayers. It's times like that when it's comforting to think about the possibility of reincarnation. I have a autistic and mentally challenged older brother (my only sibling). He will never have a job, home, career, car, marriage, children, college to attend, travel freely and be in control of his destiny, yet is very aware of his short comings and often comment about why he can't do what Dean does.
13 short years yet so much can happen in such a small amount of time. Sometimes I console myself that someone even got to have a taste of life at all & to be grateful for the gift of whatever time but, to lose a child & her own sweet life, I can only imagine. I hope she doesn't suffer & feels very much loved if she leaves us. My prayers are with your family, Carol. All my love, Danielle x

Oh my, Carol. It is so hard to understand, or even try to, why this has to happen in such a young life. I know your family must be devastated. I feel for her and for all of you tonight. Know that I m praying for her and for you and your family as well tonight.
You are one of the most comforting people around, Carol. I hope you realize what a comfort you are to people, and than you can get and give the same comfort right now. You are a very special person, and i know your family and loved ones must benefit so much from your sobriety.
I will keep this precious little child of God in my prayers.
XOXO Joni
