Hi Laurie,

My daughter had mono at 17 too (19 now). We figured it would put her out of commission for a long time as I had a friend who was down for 4 years! Luckily, Jen bounced back after only 2 weeks and seemed to have no residual effects. I hope your daughter gets over it the same way! See what kissing does!!!!!! LOL

Best Wishes,
scott

Done. I had mono when I was in 8th grade. I missed a couple months of school and was so weak when I went back, I had to use crutches for a while to get around. I broke my ankles repeatedly and was on crutches on and off for years.

Awww, Lani xx I don't know what mono is but it sounds awful. I hope your girl gains her strength back as soon as she's able & may our prayers offer her some until she's bouncing back! God blessings in prayers, Danielle xx

I found out that a lot of people that I thought were my friends hurt my feelings. I've also been struggling in school and just under a lot of stress. I had a relapse recently and that's never good. I've been praying to God a lot because sometimes I just feel lost.

Hello kkotz
Yea, I know where you are.  I also know you've posted a few times, but I can't remember... have or do you go to AA meetings?

I am kind of stuck in a tough situation. There are no alcholic anonymous meetings where I go to school. I don't have a car so I can't drive to the nearest meeting. People don't seem to be really helpful and it's kind of frustrating.
