My daughter is reaching the 1 year anniversary of her sobriety! Does anyone have any suggestions for a very special gift from this very proud mother to my daughter? I have several thoughts but would love your input.
A medallion on a nice chain? I have seen people wearing some nice jewelry which is typically the change symbol (triangle). Though I agree the love and hug thing is priceless.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful ideas. I tell her daily how proud I am of her, and how much I love her. When I see her she also gets alot of hugs. It is so wonderful to have my daughter back. My husband also gave me an idea, he said maybe a charm braclet and the 1 year date on the first charm, possibly the triagle, this way we can keep adding to it. Thanks again for all your help. Danette

Hi Danette, congrats to your daughter, one year is a major accomplishment. Your love and support is all she really needs from you and she is very lucky to have you. Having a token (such as a charm) is a great idea, something she can see and touch any time of the day, reminding her of her path.

Congrats to your daughter on a big accomplishment, I'm sure you will come up with some thing to show your daughter how proud you are today, if she doesn't already know that.
