If the Creator wanted us to all have been the same , then He would have made us the same. Our diversity is valuable. Much of our belief systems are and have been shaped over time from beginning to present. Although we are seemingly so very different, our common Creator did give us quite a lot , well...In common.
The more I have learned about the various basic religions, the more I see a kindred Spirit that is in us all.
I've been to meetings in England, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Holland,Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, USA, Taiwan & Israel.
Believe me, meetings are meetings, I'm often the only non Jew when I go to the meeting in Tel Aviv, but the sharing is no different than that elsewhere.
I once heard someone say all the religions of the world have one thing in common, they all send their drunks to AA to get sober!
