Hello, everyone! I am new here but wanted to relate something. A group of women from different groups meet in my home every Monday night for a Big Book Study. It's awesome! There are only six of us even though we've invited others. On each member's AA birthday we all go out for dinner. Getting 6 alkies to all agree on one place to eat is a major miracle! We have fun and it makes staying sober fun. Just glad I found this place!
Welcome Barb! I'm excited for you and your B.B. Study Group. Some of us A.A. women have been trying to get something like that going for almost a year, but with schedules, children and all those other things, it just hasn't happened, YET. It's kind of been like your group trying to agree on a place to eat.

Well done on getting the Big Book Study meeting up and running! That is terrific. I wish that we could do that where I live, but it's such a small area. Anyway, you have given me the inspiration to try it again.
