I know it's silly, but I'm still soooooo friggin' pissed off!
I sell on eBay, a LOT. It has helped me through this tough economy, I mean I don't make tons of money, but with my hours at work being cut and with doctor / hospital bills continueing, it does help with gas and a few groceries.
I happened to make a small purchase from a guy about a month ago (Christmas item for my son) and when the item arrived it wasn't what he'd described at all. I tried to contact him, he never responded. So, I ended up leaving negative feedback stating the truth! His response to that was to call me "U worthless HO" on feedback left for me (eBay removed that remark). Sooooo, next thing I know this guy purchased (Buy It Now) 2 items from me, then refused to pay for them. His emails to me stated he'd pay if I removed the negative feedback. So, after waiting the appropriate 8 days, I filed a non payment claim and was credited for my insertion fees. TODAY, I check eBay and the guy left TWO negative feedbacks for me (the 2 items) that were pure LIES -- things like "stop CALLING ME, stop harrassing me, you're scaring me. I've been on eBay 10 yrs and never had to deal with such", yada, yada, yada. It really PISSED me off. The guy intentionally purchased my 2 items, (that were a sofa and chair so they had to be picked up, he lives in NE I'm in SC! ) out of pure malice. The only time I contacted him was to send an invoice for the items!!!!
So, now I have 2 HUGE RED negative's on my profile. The part that gets me is THEY ARE LIES!!!!!!!
Needed to vent, to get it out..........I can not afford anger and resentment. So, thanks for letting me share something that really is silly.!

Hey doll, I think that ebay will remove his negative feedbacks and probably suspend him or revoke his privliges. It is expressly forbidden to do what he did. It's in the user agreement. It's also extortion.
by the way, you can block bidders from bidding on your auction, and you can cancel their bids as well. Contact ebay asap.
It's not silly, Doll. He is being a Bugger!!!Sorry for swearing but I'm feeling for you too. What he is doing is wrong so contact ebay & explain what's happening. Play it by the book & keep your side of the street clean. You can only do your best & your HP will take care of the rest. I can relate with that not being able to afford anger & resentment. Thanks for coming here & getting it off your chest. You'll deal with this & it'll work out fine. I'm sure of it. Tell us how it all goes, Jen! Danielle x

Sorry you're going through that. Guy sounds like a low life and not much you can do about him but pray he goes to Heaven - tonight! Just kidding but it helps to have a sense of humor about some things. i don't live the way he does but he has to live i his own skin. Glad you had somewhere to vent.
Prayers up to you girl...and for him especially!!!!!

Some would advise you to pray for the guy. NOT!!! I would be furious, just my nature. I fell victim to a HUGE scam going on from China, they set up fake websites, mostly electronics for very low prices. I walked right into it, paid 400 bux for an iPhone, sent my money via Western Union ( who looked trustworthy enough) and when I realized I was ripped off, did the research I should have done in the first place. As it turns out, literally thousands of people are being ripped off the same way....per day!!! All I know now is that this has been a valuable lesson for me, in how to act and react in situations. I'm wondering how, let's say the Dalai Lama would handle being ripped off.....the way I do it surely takes years off my life! Time for the serenity prayer once again!

A little off topic here, but I hope everyone knows to never use western union to pay for merchandise. there is no way to get your money back. Open a Paypal account (Paypal is owned by Ebay) and select your visa card as the source of funds for All payments. Paypal will refund your money if the receipient can't prove that you received the merchandise. And in the rare instance that Paypal won't refund your money, Your Visa card company will. So that gives you a double layer of protection. I have won every credit card dispute (3) that I've made. Just make the dispute with Paypal or Visa with in 30-90 days of the purchase. This is why scam artists always insist on Western Union because they know , not only, will you not be able to take the money back but they also don't risk revealing their true identity (in order to have a visa merchant account) and committing credit card fraud. And Also as a Paypal reciepient they get rated (graded) just like ebayers do and when the rip someone off, Paypal closes their account.
