Haven't been on in a while, new job has me swamped---actually, I was used to making my own hours, so now a normal 9-5 feels like an 18 hour day!

I lost track of how long it's been but I had it written down weeks ago-so that makes 145 days! The urge is still there, but fleeting more and more. Even when my company laid off about 1/3 of it's workforce and I was part of it, I was seriously thinking about relapsing, but I thought no, this is not the right thing to do--will only make things worse. Turns out I was not let go, it was an oversight. Then, I had a small urge to celebrate with a drink, but wasn't gonna happen, and didn't!

Glad to be home on Christmas Eve with my family...and sober. Although, about a week or so ago, I was eating some grapes and came across a really wrinkly one. Ate it, it tasted EXACTLY like wine...I spit it out but thought uh oh I wonder what tasting alcohol after almost 5 months will do...not a damned thing! But I am a little scared to eat grapes now...grapeaphobia? Wrinklygrapeaphobia?

It's great to see you posting again. Thanks for the update. I was just thinking about you and wondering how things were for you.
