ARGH....... got stuck with this construction container here in my driveway, the buttheads who pulled down my garage did not PAY the container co. for the second one, so they did not come and get it. (It was the workers' responsibility, and included in the estimate!!). God love em'. They are in AA and were trying to make some money. Had to warn the container co. that if they did not come and get it, my husband was going to use his towtruck tonight and place it in the middle of the street. It is gone now.
Had a Horrific USING DREAM during late afternoon cat-nap, complete with running around trying to get busy getting messed up, and running away form my husband, leaving out the back door as he came in the front, etc.... worrying about getting money, blah blah blah.... woke up pouring with sweat, full of anxiety, and a good case of the WTF's. I hate those dreams.
Have to spend the day at work tomorrow training people who do not want to be trained on things they do not want to learn. Wish me luck.
But hey, the house is warm, the bills are paid, and life is good sober. Even with the usual dramas and oddities. Hubby is gone working int eh snowstorm and will "see him next spring" (LOL). God gave me a terrific dog and cat to keep me warm. Awe, shucks, life in all it's clusters is good.

Hey Joni My world is crazed too at the moment but its all stuff we can handle today!!! For that I am so grateful. It could be alot worse!!! (i think!!!) lol

IT IS NOT BY CHANCE BUT BY DESIGN THAT THE SORROWS WE EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES ARE COUNTERED BY EQUAL SERVINGS OF JOY. ONE OFFSETS THE OTHER. AND, WE ARE STRENGTHENED BY THEIR COMBINATION.

Every day seems like it is something else. The police threatened to tow one of our cars, because I parked it just around the corner so that it would not be in the way during the garage demolition. There is no parking on MY street right now, as they are working on the water lines. I had even called the police department on Wednesday asking if it was ok!!! Then someone called Thursday night complaining about it, even though there is no parking ban on that street, and they said it had been there for a week! How does 36 hours equal a week? I tell you, I just don't know about people. It is not like I am living in upscale Malibu here!
So, off I go to dig it out of the snow, and be on my way. Wow. Some people cannot afford one car right now, let alone a "spare". I have no good reason to have an attitude about this, people just being people I guess, and having nothing better to do with their time than to stare at a car on the street. Well, those people are getting their water lines done next, so we shall see what kind of inconvenience THEY have to go through!
Today was a very trying day all around, Lani. Just really really bad at work, complete chaos, confusion, lack of training, and forgotten items all day long. Big morning snow storm, cars buried once it was time to go home. I am cold. I am tired. I just want to curl up and turn everything off. But duty calls in my recovery, in my home, and in my marriage. It is hard having to carry the load of everything else while my husband works these long winter hours towing. Nobody ever said life would be easy. But it could be a lot harder, and if aggravation and frustration and hard work is what "strengthens" us, then I guess God thinks me and Him together are up to the job.

Hi Joni I see from your post today you were up and at em early and got the bird fixins! Good girl as I just rolled out of bed!!! If I were there right now, Id go outside with you and build a big ass snow man in the street where your car was!!!!! hahah!!!!!So mature!!! We will get through this blasted season and spring will be right around the corner! Sounds good anyways as its not even officially winter!!! AUGGHHHH!!!!
You know what is cool...even though we have all this crazy, aggrevating stuff going on in our lives....Today we can handle it and we are SOBER!!! Who would have thought!!! I have things going on today that used to cause me to drink like crazy!!! Actually, I think these things were what caused me to fall off that mountain! But refuse to let it get me down and drunk! What a true blessing that is in itself!! XO
