funny how i can be looking outward see everyone elses "faults" "flaws" see how easy there answers are see how good there life would be if only they did or changed somethings
then i look in my own mirror oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhh...........lol the list is quite long i wont bore ya.....lol
yup....the answers are simple for me too..... and my life would be so much better, healthier, happier, simpler if.....................i changed and did a few things
mmmmmmmm
i know what i need to do, how to do it, ect................... cant figure out
WHAT STOPS ME????
seems simple.....
the one realization i have.....
its so easy to see other people's stuff sometimes and say to myself.....whow....its simple...why dont they do it? so very hard to apply it where it matters the most myself......................
what we DON'T often see, is that others are going through the same self-analysis that we are. Take time today to also look at the things about ourselves that are "good" and right. No sense in looking at the "good" in others, and not taking the time to see it in ourselves as well.

i think your onto something joni......i started doing what you suggested and my whole outlook/mood changed.....concentrate more on what's good and right.....build off that....instead of focusing on the other kinda inventory.....thanks!!!
Yes - I have been doing exactly that a LOT over the past 2 years. I have come to accept that I can not change anyone. I can not respect someone, I can not like someone, I can set my boundaries and not accept certain behavior in my life. But I should always be kind when doing any of these things.
I can only control myself and now my focus is on living the steps everyday. And I am in the midst of my 1st 4th step so I am actively taking my own inventory and loving it.
God has spent the last three months playing this funny little game. Everytime I judge someone for something - I turn around and do the EXACT same thing. Usually within an HOUR of saying it. It is infuriating! But so darn funny!

I like that! Balance is good! You all shared some wonderful thoughts! I think of "we can always start our day over" when things get crazy! Positive thoughts bring positive results!
